Lent Course follow on. Interest has been expressed in continuing a bible study group on a monthly basis. This is being explored so watch this space.
News from the Diocese: Last Thursday, Rebecca Haughty was instituted as Rector at Castle Douglas and Dalbeattie. Prayers for Rebecca as she begins her new ministry.
Dean Reuben will leave office on 10th May following the usual order in the Scottish Episcopal Church after a new Bishop comes. Prayers and thanks for Reuben as his ministry continues in the diocese.
A date for the diary! Saturday 25th April, 10am -3pm: We are having a Plant and Bake Sale, when home baked treats and a variety of plants and seedlings will be on sale, as well as bakes and home made soup as refreshments. Mary-Clare Cornwallis, an artist who specialises in flowers, will be there to offer advice and guidance.
