On 14 October, Canon Stuart Bain embarked on his annual journey to the kingdom of Lesotho. We’ll be following his travels here:
17 October
A few flowers from a walk this morning.
16 October
A wee walk by the lake next to the Link. Caught a fisherman doing his thing, next to the village.
So day one of the Lesotho visit, began with prayers and Bible study with the Lesotho Durham Link staff, wonderful to see old friends again and also make some new ones. Toured the major renovations of the main hall and dining room, it is going to be good when it is finished. Afternoon spent across at the Cathedral at the Education Office, talking Anglican schools and more with Ntate Mokoqo Motlalepula the Schools Secretary, we go back a bit, first met in 2014.
15 October
Arrived at the Lesotho Durham Link at 5.30 pm. It’s a long haul, I can’t say I was sad to get off the 3rd plane at Bloemfontein Bram Fischer Airport. Then pick up a car and drive to Maseru, no issues at the borders thankfully. Home is the Rondeval for the next couple of weeks.
